Futuristic new teaching campus development for Nottingham University, comprising 4 buildings of unique design which incorporate radius columns and beams.
Manchester Airport Control Tower
60-mtr high internal concrete lift-shaft core and 9-mtr dia independent external tower constructed simultaneously using elevated hydraulic slipform system.
St Paul's Place
This Luxury apartment block is currently the tallest building in Sheffield, with a retail unit on the first two floors, it consists of a thirty two story and thirteen story building, joined together over the first four floors
Crematorium
A challenging project incorporating a combination of cycloid-shaped in-situ concrete roofs and joining flat roofs: the columns along the lines of the external walls have fully insulated cavities and support both the cold external concrete roof structure and the warm internal roof structure.
Bridlington
The Spa Promenade is two zig-zag walls with a shot blasted concrete wall encompassing look-out balconies offering views over the sea and promenade below and the Spa Gardens are made from bands of granite setts and seeded concrete to provide a robust attractive surface, and creating various levels of scale, detail and texture

Northfield Construction Ltd – leading national subcontractor of reinforced concrete and associated groundworks - we were founded in the year 2000 by Directors Duncan Oughton and Phil Bryan. Phil retired in 2023. Simon Dean our estimator joined the board of directors in December 2016. Our Directors have extensive experience working in the industry, and within the material and technical developments of the industry over the years.
At Northfield Construction Ltd’s, our specialty is in-situ reinforced concrete structures, sub-structures and related groundworks for commercial, industrial and public sector clients. With over 400 successfully completed projects in our portfolio, we have been awarded numerous Concrete Society Awards for quality of workmanship and technical expertise.
